Develop formidable leg strength and an unshakeable root, the ability to move with a seemingly effortless, yet internally powerful grace for a rock-solid structure and stored energy for deep well-being and relaxed power.
Module II , 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm > Taiji Movement
for Energy and Vitality
More complex and intricate sequences are introduced to refine your movement, alignment and posture, while further enhancing your strength and generation of energy - comprised of Taiji’s most essential movements, taking your sense of energy direction, coordination of qi, and the mastery of key sequences crucial to Chen Taijiquan.

for Explosive Power
Taiji’s most- essential power emitting movements are revealed with the proper gathering of qi from Chen Taiji silk reeling.
Module IV, 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm > Chen Village CombatApplications (The Water Principle)
Figueroa will teach his powerful approach of Taijiquan combat applications around his Water Principal methodology. Drawn from his early combat training in Chen Village, Figueroa developed a teaching method to reveal the use of soft and hard energes in Taiji combat. Like Yin and Yang, water is in a constant state of flux that when applied to fighting principles, instills 3 strategic physical attributes characteristic of Chen Taiji combat.
